This week's City Tribune!

The first ever Health Body & Soul Event at Lohans Salthill took place on Monday night last. The event in aid of Enable Ireland and Cystic Fibrosis was a huge success drawing interest and participants from across the county. 13 practitioners provided their services free of charge on the night and offered attendees the opportunity to enjoy a new alternative experience. Also on offer on the night while waiting to speak with a practitioner were Indian head massages, organic wines, nail file and polishes as well an abundance of fabulous food. The demand for tickets for this event was exceptionally high and it is hoped a second event will take place in the coming weeks!

All things Holistic @ Lohan's, Salthill

Well the week got off to a great start on Monday 27th @ Lohan's Bar and Restaurant, Salthill. Patricia and Joanne organised a Health, Body and Soul evening in which Angel Cards, Kinesiology, Astrology, Iridology, Scalp and Hair Analysis, Reiki, Reflexology, Mind Body Balancing, Life Coaching, and Indian Head Massage were available - you could avail of 2 x 15min treatments/ consultations and also beauty treaments and organic wine and finger food were available.

All the proceeds of the evening went to two very worthy charities, Enable Ireland and The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland.

There was huge response to the evening, so much so, that every slot was booked up before the event and some people were turned away at the door.. however, due to the great response it looks like they will be hosting another event very soon.

I will post notice of this, and further details can be found at www.lohans.ie

I was delighted to have been a therapist participating in this event and thoroughly enjoyed the 4 hours of Indian Head Massage treatments that I did - even if the legs were a bit sore by the end of it!!

I also met some lovely therapists and wonderful clients. It's great to see people's awareness and interest growing of Complementary Therapies and the valuable healing tool that they are in today's day and age.

So, go and book a treatment with your Complementary Therapist today!!
